Urgently Needed

With all the technology around us, teachers, parents and students, we all have a very big responsibility toward the new generation; and some of the grownups as well.

Technology is our life, we should learn how to deal with it, to make the maximum use of it and respect people around us. Digital Etiquette is the solution. It might be basic to some of us, but we all should know more about it and educate ourselves and our students/ children.

Its Time for the Famous Sentence

In this part of the year almost all  people around the world, or lets say mainly in arab countries, are busy with the same thing. Airports are busy with its citizens, those who are back from their different countries, summer resorts are getting empty again. on the other hand, Bookshops are welcoming their seasonal shoppers, teachers are back to their schools preparing the new year schedule. The Vacation is over, Officially!!!

I can never forget, the craft that our teacher let us made in my KG class. It will always be in my head, and would like to link school with this welcoming teacher, that was my favorite teacher for really a long time. I think I loved it because it was something we did it using our little hands with the teacher instructions and motivations. It was very simple but we save it for really long time. 

Because I loved it and left a good mark in me; and will always love that first day in school after a very funny and playful vacation, I would like to dedicate this post for teachers; Ice Breakers, to look at and get inspired to use it in class, in the first day at school.

Summer in new Perspective

Its not acceptable to have all these free resources and not to be fluent in the second and third language. I froze for a moment.....and said Yes, you are completely right. It was in the last session of this year classes.

We all have to improve our selves, specially that we have those free and open resources that we can all access. 
I deiced then to set a summer plan for this year... I will be working on both, improving my English speaking skills and learn French!!! YES FRENCH! To accomplish this plan, I will be using these two resources that I found useful and interesting. 

For the English part, I will be using this link, www.bbc.co.uk, It has too many options and I will be switching between the programs (too many interesting topics I'm really excited).
And for the French, www.tv5.org and www.rfi.fr

Are you a Color Blind?

Was watching a presentation on a technology topic, and a question popped up!  Do we usually consider that we might have a color blind audience? Has teachers thought about it?

Because if so, we have to know what colors should we  use and what we should not use to ensure that all the audience that are viewing our presentation(especially if we are talking about students in classroom), see equally what we are addressing.
